A theme is a GitHub repository with a goblog-theme.json manifest, a templates/ folder (only the templates you change — everything else comes from goblog's default theme), an optional static/ folder, a README.md and a screenshot.png, released as vX.Y.Z tags — see the theme publishing guide. Paste the repository URL; it is checked right away and queued for a maintainer to approve. Plugins and themes are told apart by their manifest, so either kind can be submitted here.
Validation checks the manifest, README and screenshot at the latest release, downloads the release's archive and parses every template on top of goblog's default theme. Nothing is stored unless it passes.
